Join us for an over-the-top romp through the galaxy in a new, body-positive and hilarious burlesque space opera inspired by classic Sci-Fi B-movies of the 70s and 80s. Battle of Uranus combines the art of burlesque, storytelling of musical theatre, and disciplines of dance, acrobatics and comedy to tell the empowering story of an unlikely hero on their epic journey to save the galaxy.

When the evil glamazon Galaxoria begins to steal the galaxy’s libido in her quest to become the most desirable person alive, an outcast named Spunk Nick must team up with their planet’s top scientist, Dr. Gargantubrain, to save the universe. They quickly devise a plan to seek out an ancient power source large enough to stop Galaxoria’s desire-destroying weapon.

There’s only one issue: the ancient power source is scattered across the galaxy and must be found before Galaxoria’s weapon is complete. Spunk Nick must now race across the galaxy visiting strange and erotic planets in their quest to save their home and way of life from complete destruction. To make matters worse, Galaxoria soon discovers Spunk Nick’s plan and starts to close in quickly. Spunk Nick must now get over their fears and risk everything if they hopes to save herself, their friends and the galaxy from annihilation.

We recognize that the land on which we perform is the traditional unceded Indigenous territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations.
